The Roofing Process
Pursuing a claim without a professional who understands how insurance companies work would be like going to court without a lawyer or performing surgery on yourself. But you don’t have to go it alone, contact Midwest Roofing today and make sure you get everything you deserve from your insurance claim.
When you file a claim with the insurance company you will be assigned a company adjuster. Company adjusters are hired as an advocate for the insurance company and come to the bargaining table as trained negotiators that know they have an advantage. That’s why it’s important you have an advocate on your side that will give you every advantage as well.
So how can you level the playing field? By working with Marc and his team of insurance repair professionals who are prepared to work zealously as an advocate for your interests.
Bringing years of experience to the table Marc knows the ins and outs of the insurance claim process including proper filing of insurance claims, technical insurance knowledge, and years of insurance negotiating expertise. This experience creates a respect with local insurance adjusters that, many times, can even help in expediting a more favorable insurance claim.
Submitting Your Claim
We start with a free roof inspection. If damage is present we take photos to show you. Identifying hail damage takes a trained eye; many times it is missed by homeowners, contractors and even adjusters.
We help you file a claim with your insurance company and get a claim number.
We meet with the assigned adjuster. Our goal is to get a full approval on your roof and any other collateral damage. We work hard to get you a fair settlement. The insurance company sends out an adjuster to protect their interest! We represent you, the homeowner, and your interests.
With the approval of the insurance company and a negotiated price, you get a new roof for no more than your deductible.
First we strip off the entire roof down to the plywood. Then our team inspects for loose or rotted wood and will replace or repair as needed. (Up to two sheets are included).
We install an enamel-finished metal drip edge in a color to match as close as possible to the fascia or roof color.
We start with the right underlayment. First ice and water gaurd, to meet code, which is 24" past the warm wall. We then install a 15# or 30# felt paper or a synthetic underlayment called Tiger Paw.
We install a professional starter strip.
We install quality shingles, choosing the right shingle can increase the value of your home.
